In the afternoon of June 6, 2010, there will be a city wide CERT exercise. Plans are still pending. We may choose to shadow another neighborhood with an establish CERT to see what we can learn.

City turns on Alert-SCC

Mountain View has just gone live with the new Alert-SCC system, a multi-modal system for alerting the public with emergency information. The system can use multiple phone numbers, email and text messaging to alert you of emergencies in your locality which they can tailor to specific block, streets or sections of the city.
